This grab and go breakfast is great for those busy mornings. It is a huge time-saver on the Daniel Fast.

There are a few combinations of ingredients that are my favorite when it comes to overnight oats, this Cinnamon Apple Overnight Oats takes second place.

Sometimes I add and mix in about 3/4 cup of water or milk to my overnight oats. Then, I heat it up in a microwave (shown below) or blend it with the toppings and drink it as a shake.

Banana toppings can also be added to this apple base. It’s super delish!

For added protein, I sprinkled in some hemp seeds.

Tip: I sometimes cook peel and cook my apple as shown in recipe image. I prefer less crunch in the apple when used as a topping. Cooking softens the apple, and the natural sugars break down which makes it sweeter/less tart.

How to Cook Apples: Peel 1 apple, chop, and place in a small pot with one cup of water. Turn stove on and allow to come to a boil. Turn heat to low and cook for about 8-10 minutes or until apple has softened. A chopped date can also be added and cooked with the apple. This can then be used for oats instead of using raisins or even be eaten as a wonderful treat. When mashed together at the end it will be like apple sauce, sweetened with a date).
